JHU student section of ASME Lester is the advisor to the JHU student section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). The section organizes the Ready Set Design! outreach program, which provides introductory engineering experiences for Baltimore-area middle school girls, and the section also has an entry in the SAE Baja SAE car competition.
